Scotland Food & Drink’s mission is to drive the profitability of Scotland's thriving food and drink sector. As part of this mission, they host an annual awards to honour business and individuals at the forefront of innovation and quality in Scotland’s food industry.
For the 2018 awards, SF&D wanted to reach as many people as possible, so from January to June we published a series of profiles of previous winners on The Scotsman website, and video profiles on their Facebook page. The profiles were also cross published to print, in order to encourage food and drink businesses to enter.
By the closing date, SF&D had received 275 entries, a record number for the awards, and the three videos delivered by The Scotsman team achieved 19,837 views. Overall, the promoted articles reached 2,927 views.
