Sitting just behind the world-famous Blackpool Tower, Houndshill is Blackpool’s only enclosed shopping centre and its premier commercial hub. It boasts over 65 different retailers, from major clothing brands like River Island to food chains like Burger King and Bella Italia.
To grow the Houndshill brand locally, promote the large variety of stores, services and events they host, and increase traffic to their car park facilities after shopping hours, the shopping centre worked with National World on a multi-channel campaign across our online and print titles, supplemented by paid ads on Google.
As a result of the campaign’s strong digital focus, Houndshill Shopping Centre saw an 85% increase in website visitors over January and February 2019.
We have advertised with National World for a number of years, but recently their advice has helped us take the step into digital to drive people to our Centre and website. We now promote our stores and events with targeted online advertising, and use Google Ads to boost our car parking facilities.
