The Client

Creative Edge is a Cambridgeshire based digital marketing and website development specialist. Originally concentrating on local businesses they have grown to serve clients across the UK and as far afield as Auckland, New Zealand.

The Challenge

Creative Edge's client needed to generate website traffic, leads and ultimately sales by promoting a sale and offers for their client, Home Outlets.

While their client was used to campaigns with traditional social media, Creative Edge were keen to test options to bolster performance in light of declining audience and engagement. They also wanted to explore the potential results of advertising to the National World news sites’ engaged local audiences with greater reader attention. They set up a campaign with price-led creative treatments on National World Ad Manager, using local geographic-targeting to reach an audience aged 25+.

The Result

Web-traffic spiked with a fourfold increase in average daily visits. Creative Edge achieved a strong performance across all metrics according to the brand lift campaign report, powered by Brand Metrics. The campaign achieved a 13% lift in brand awareness, a 32% increase in consideration to make a purchase, a 24% improvement in brand preference, and an impressive rise of 36% lift to those expressing intent to use or buy from the Home Outlets sale (a performance 20% above the average campaign).
